Sibiu and Sibiel

Today, the weather was once again with us, and the old Saxon city of Sibiu greeted us with a sunny smile. Keeping to traditions, we climbed a church tower and did some strolling. We also ran into a nice photo exhibition in the tourist information on the main square.

Afterwards, Adrian (our taxi driver for these days) drove us to the little village of Adriana. Here, we ventured out, cameras in the ready, to take photos of the picturesque little village. I met some cool locals too, most impressing was an old lady with a big axe.

A traditional dinner was enjoyed at Adriana’s Pension, with lots of dishes and live folk music. Most of it was locally produced, including the white wine, the fresh apple juice and the schnapps. Great!
