A few days in Copenhagen
After seeing my family we spoiled ourselves with two days in Copenhagen. The weather was splendid and the smørrebrød as yummi as always (we ate at Cafe Sorgenfri and Kanal-cafeen). Femke sniffed out a number of design shops (and I a few bodegas). We also visited Christiania - Femke never been there before, and of course the beautiful neighbourhood of Christianshavn as well as art museum Glyptoteket.
The second day started much earlier than planned with a fire alarm and evacuation of the hotel. In the end it was nothing serious, just a chimney fire. But running barefooted in the fire stairs seven in the morning is quite a abrupt awakening I tell you.

Design and smørrebrød

On the way home to Amsterdam, we stopped in Copenhagen for a day, visiting design stores and having a lovely smørrebrød-lunch at Café Halvvejen. CPH is such a lovely city.
