Paragliding from Lion's Head on New Year's Day

Today I finally got the chance to fly from Lion's head in Cape Town. The wind was too weak to stay up and soar the cliff, but it was a beautiful flight nevertheless. Afterwards I had a landing beer at the terrace just next to the landing field, then got a ride with friendly local pilots Joe and Heidi.


While I was flying Bonen walked to the very top of Lion's Head. In the evening we met at Arnold's Restaurant for a tasty ostrich burger. All in all a great day!
